Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. Payment
We accept cash, debit cards or credit cards. Unfortunately we do not take cheques. We always take a £20 booking fee over the phone which is deducted from your ultrasound scan price, this secures your appointment and protects us from missed appointments and no shows. The booking fee is non refundable. However if you contact us to let us know you can not make your appointment with more than 48 hours to go we can reschedule you a new appointment free of charge. You may however find that you can book on the day in which no booking fee is required. We are a busy ultrasound studio so booking in advance is always advised to avoid disappointment.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Meet The Baby and subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.
Cancelations
We recognise that sometimes unfortunately you need to cancel your appointment. Letting us know as soon as possible is important so you don't lose any money. Our booking fee of £20 is non-refundable. This is to protect us from lost revenue over missed appointments and no shows. However if you call us with more than 48 hours until your appointment we will happily reschedule another appointment for you free of charge.
Disclaimer
Our business is to provide additional pregnancy scans for keepsake purposes. Our scans should not replace your routine NHS scans and they should never be missed.
• Sex identification cannot be 100% guaranteed. It is only the opinion of the Sonographer and therefore should be taken as such and no legal action can be taken if the opinion of the sonographer is wrong.
• When attending for 3/4D ultrasound it is important to note that the scan is baby led and therefore images will vary greatly dependent on baby’s position.
• Due to the nature of ultrasound, there are several factors which can affect the quality of your images. Above average BMI, position of the baby, empty bladder, excess adipose tissue and changes to bowel habits/bowel gas.
• All scans need to be paid for in full before the first scan appointment.
• We do not look for abnormalities if we find there is an issue then we will help you access your local pregnancy unit if wanted.
Photography & recording: Personal photography may be not permitted in our clinic.
Modification: We reserve the right to modify or improve our service without prior notice.
What we cannot guarantee: We undertake to provide you with the best images possible, but you understand that your baby’s position during the scan is outside our control. We will use reasonable efforts to ensure that your appointment will run on time. In relation to gender scans, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the gender identification. We will undertake to do our best to identify the sex of your baby. We accept no liability for any incorrect indication of your baby’s sex. It is worth while to note that early pregnancies can sometimes difficult to see due to baby being too early, high BMI, Bowl Gas and other factors.
What you will receive following the scan: You will receive printed and digital images and video of your scan, depending on the scanning package you have purchased.
Delays outside our control: If we have to delay or amend the date or time of your appointment due to an event outside our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. This may be as a result of any technical issues, changes in law or regulatory requirements. Provided we do this we will not be liable for delays caused by the event. If there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any services you have paid for but not received.
